 Maumelle Living is
Maumelle’s Lifestyle magazine. It
was founded by longtime residents of Maumelle, Terry and Gay Carpenter.
With a steady growing population of approximately
15,000, this bedroom community of Little Rock is one of the fastest
growing towns in Arkansas. According to the U.S. Census
bureau, this rapidly developing city has the highest per median
household income of any town in Arkansas.
Research done by the Carpenters revealed
that this city was ready for her own magazine. It was anticipated that Maumelle Living
Magazine would be well received but the Carpenters were pleasantly
surprised and flattered at just how well it was received. The
first bi-monthly issue of Maumelle Living Magazine was produced
in November, 2004. It was an immediate success and has enjoyed
solid growth from the beginning.
Maumelle Living Magazine was created with three goals in mind;
1) to produce a high quality lifestyle magazine,
2) with affordable advertising rates for small businesses
3) free to Maumelle residents.
